SENIOR CITIZENS | Meetings, activities announced


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet for a picnic at noon Tuesday at Pavilion 3 in Hubbard Harding Park. The event is free for paid-up members. For more information call 330-759-1932. Report illnesses to Connie DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Aug. 29 in Founders Hall for lunch, cards and bingo. Cost for lunch is $2, and serving on the committee are Ann Baginy, Mary Soltis and Ann Banyots. No affiliation with the church is required for participation.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church for cards and games. Members are to take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided. Guests are welcome.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played. Bob Ferrara will give the devotions, and there will be a pizza part at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. For information call 330-757-1980.

Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center. Ann Smith will preside, and Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay will give reports. Lunch will be served by Ruth Infante, Dorothy LoSasso and Ann Smith. An $8 fee for a catered lunch in September (instead of October) will be collected.
