Parent-child beginning swim classes offered

YOUNGSTOWN

The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, is offering classes for parents and children to bond in the water in this beginning swim class.

Parent/Child is a class designed for children 6-36 months.

Children, with help of their parents, will learn how to float on their backs and bellies and improve motor skills.

Swim pants or swim diapers are required. The classes are 9 to 9:30 a.m. Saturdays.

Session dates are Sept. 4-25; Oct. 2-23; Oct. 30-Nov.20; Nov. 27-Dec. 18.

Cost is $15 for members/ $23 for non-members.
