Authorities say a 57-year-old woman biking in a charity ride was killed after a pickup truck struck her bicycle.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the rider, Michelle Kazlausky, was taken to a local hospital, where she died Saturday.

Patrol spokesman Max Norris said the driver, Ervin Blackston, 57, hit Kazlausky after he failed to heed a trooper’s signal to stop.
