Neighbors Blitz starts next week

It’s football season - and not just for the varsity teams.

Starting next Saturday (Aug. 28), Neighbors will launch its version of the Blitz, a look at the schedules, results and photos from community football games. We’ll include information about the Little Cards, the middle school teams, the freshman games and the junior varsity squad.

Coaches and parents are already working to get us the information we need for this one page, weekly feature. But we can always use more help. Send us game recaps, stats and photos at neighbors@vindy.com. Don’t forget about the cheerleaders, concession workers or fans, either. We’ll get in as much as we can each week to showcase your teams. Sending your material by Tuesday will enhance your chances of getting it published in the next edition.
