Spanish classes offered at JCC

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, is offering an introduction to the Spanish language class. Natalie Depoy will be the instructor for the class that will be available from 1:30 to 2:30 each Tuesday, from Sept. 7 through Oct. 19.

The cost is $50 for JCCC members and $60 for non-members. To register call the bursar’s office at 330-746-3251, ext. 195.

Buhl registration dates announced

SHARON, PA.

Buhl Community Recreation Center, 28 N. Pine Ave., has scheduled registration dates for following activities:

Synchronized swim from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, classes begin Sept. 13.

Red Cross, 5 to 7 p.m.. Thursday, classes begin Sept. 11.

Tot swim 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and from 5:30 to 6:30 Aug. 26, classes begin Sept. 8.

Dance, gymnastics and swimming, 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, classes in dance and gymnastics begin Sept. 13.

Baton classes for Twirling Angels, 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 7.

Buhl nursery orientation for classes to begin the week of Sept. 13 will be:

Pre-K from 9 to 11 a.m. and nursery school, 1 to 3 p.m., Sept. 8.

Toddler time from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 9.

Tourism bureau to compile calendar

Trumbull County Tourism Bureau is encouraging local organizations to submit county event information for inclusion in a calendar of events to be published next year and distributed state-wide.

Forms for submissions are available at the bureau’s office, 321 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, or can be obtained by mail by calling 330-675-3081. E-mail requests can be sent to Info@ExploreTrumbull County.com. A PDF file of the form can be downloaded by visiting ExploreTrumbullCounty.com and clicking on the Calendar of Events page.

Completed forms for the upcoming calendar should be mailed to the bureau by Oct. 29.
