Lectio Divina
VILLA MARIA, Pa.
Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will host another Lectio, Lunch and Labyrinth program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. Participants will gather for the sacred tradition of Lectio Divina, followed by a luncheon, fellowship and ending with a contemplative walk on Villa Maria’s labyrinth.
The series is led by Cathy Cawley, adult/family program director. She is a pastoral counselor and veteran retreat director.

Missionary Ministries of Shiloh Baptist Church, 236 Bright Ave., is collecting small change in a container in the church lobby. Donations also may be given to missionary members. The money is being collected for October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Funds will go to Sojourner House and helping victims of child and elder abuse.

Zachary Szmara, missionary candidate to Mozambique, will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday at Glenwood Christian Fellowship, 7872 Glenwood Ave., and discuss his upcoming mission assignment.
He is a Boardman native. Szmara’s focus will be on equipping pastors in southeast Africa to disciple new members, plant new churches and share the Gospel message.
