Boardman adds inductees into Hall of Fame

Boardman Booster Club is sponsoring their 31st annual Hall of Fame weekend.

The festivities begin Sept. 10 with a tailgate party at the Boardman Spartan Stadium, prior to the football game.

The inductees will be honored at halftime of the football game against Akron Hoban.

A banquet will follow the next day, Sept. 11 at Antone’s Banquet Center located at 8578 Market Street. Cocktail hour will start at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $40 and include open bar, dinner and the induction program.

The 2010 Hall of Fame inductees are George Glinatsis, baseball; Kevin J. Gorby, track/cross country; Tina Hanny, basketball and softball; Tony Knez, football; Jerry Kohout, contributor; Joel D. McBurney, track/cross country; Betty McCall Evans, contributor; Donald J. Mook Jr., football; Michael Rice, basketball; and Tony Sgambati, tennis.
