CLUBS
American Association of University Women, Warren-Trumbull County Branch, will meet Monday at Cortland Conservation Club for a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. A program and business meeting will follow. There will be a roundtable discussion with the Be Wise Campers, moderated by Marti Flint. Guests are welcome. AAUW is open to all graduates who hold an associate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Mahoning Shenango Valley Historical Society will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday at the main library on Wick Avenue.
Southington So-Sews will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Southington Christian Church, 3285 state Route 534, for a travel sewing kit demonstration by Amy Bower.
Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club will sponsor “A Country Fair” luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Dublin Grange will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the grange for a corn and wiener roast followed by the business meeting; food will be furnished. Articles for the Canfield Fair grange display should be taken to the meeting.

Girard Men’s Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Parkwood Youth Center.
Warren Republican Women’s Club will begin a new season of meetings on Sept. 2 with a luncheon and tour at Youngstown Air Reserve Station. The cost is $13. Reservations must be submitted by Aug. 30. St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. every Wednesday of the month in the parish house.
The YDCCW of Our Lady of Victory Parish, 481 S. Main St., Andover, is inviting all Catholic Women of the Diocese of Youngstown to a Sept. 18 meeting that will begin with a light breakfast and registration from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The day will include a light lunch, and the Christmas Billboard Ladies will be the speakers.
