Benefits planned for Kurt Magnello

A “Kurt’s Lil Thing” spaghetti dinner will be a benefit for Kurt Magnello, an injured firefighter and medic with Brookfield Fire Station, at 1 p.m. Sunday at Brookfield Fire Station 18, 774 State Route 7 NE.

Adult dinners will be $8, and meals for those 10 and under will be $4. Carryouts will be available, and the event will include a Chinese auction and 50-50 raffles.

The second event will be “Kurt’s Big Thing/Kurtstock” from 9 to 11 p.m. Sept 11 at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1814 state Route 7 NE. Featured will be a gun raffle, Chinese auction, and a raffle for a flat screen TV. Tickets are $20 and include food, draft beer and live bands. For information or to make donation, call 330-717-9241.
