Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic was the honeymoon destination of Matthew Paullin of Berea and his bride, the former Jamie Kelly of Strongsville, after their May 15 wedding at St. Paul the Apostle Church.

The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

The daughter of William and Barbara Kelly of Boardman and the son of Lane Paullin and Kristal Paullin, both of Ashland, live in Berea.

The bride wore a strapless A-line gown styled with a sweetheart neckline and semicathedral train. It was enhanced with a lace overlay and Swarovski crystals.

Mint-green gowns were worn by her sister and honor attendant, Brandy Kelly, and the bridesmaids, Michelle Sinkus, Sara Loveland, Nicole Conti, Myriah Moorhead, Joy Huber, Nicole Lester, Katie Hosler and the groom’s sister, Michelle Paullin.

Best man was Travis Usher, and groomsmen were Dustin Hosler, Chad Fogle, Jeremy Riehm, Adam Belmonte, Jonathan Krezeczowski, Nathan Glorioso, Ryan Strzalka and Otto Fricke.

A graduate of Kent State University with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, the bride is a speech-language pathologist with Nordonia Hills City School District in Northfield.

The groom majored in marketing management at Youngstown State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a foreman with Paullin’s Driveway Sealing in Ashland and a self-employed landlord in Cleveland.
