Cooper, Zombie to play at Covelli

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for a concert by Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie Oct. 9 at Covelli Centre.

Tickets are $47.50, $39.50 and $29..05 at the arena box office. Tickets will also be available at all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 800-745-3000.

Alice Cooper’s first achieved success with his 1971 hit “I’m Eighteen.”

He continues to tour as a rock act and has also become a DJ with his Nights with Alice Cooper radio show.

Rob Zombie made the transition from shock-rock to horror-film writer, director, and producer with his films “House of 1,000 Corpses,” “The Devil’s Rejects” and a remake of “Halloween.”
