“The Great American Trailer Park Musical,SDRq directed by Paula R. Ferguson at New Castle Playhouse Annex Theater, 212 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa. Auditions will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Cast requirements: five females and two males, ages 25 and over. You will be asked to read from the script. Be prepared with a song from “Oklahoma.” Please provide sheet music if singing something else. Cast requirements: three females, ages 18-40; two males, ages 18-35 and large chorus of adults and some children ages 9 and up. Requires singing, acting and dancing. “Of Mice and Men,SDRq by John Steinbeck. Ashtabula Arts Center, 2928 W. 13th St., Ashtabula. Auditions are from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 29 and 30. Parts are available for one woman age 19 and up, and nine men ages 30 and up. Readings will be from the script. Performances: Nov. 5-7 and 11-13. Questions should be directed to znita@hotmail.com.

“The Brementown Musicians,SDRq directed by Terri Wilkes will be performed by Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre at Youngstown Playhouse, 300 Playhouse Lane, Youngstown. Auditions will be at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 1 and 2. Need males and females ages 10 and up and adults of all ages. Actors do not need to sing or play musical instruments but must be able to stomp their feet and clap their hands. Auditioners should bring a wallet-size photo and will be asked to read from the script. Rehearsals will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Performances are Oct. 2, 3, 9, 10 in the Moyer Room. 330-788-8739.
