The parents of Yvette Maria Laboy of Youngstown and Joseph Zemko of Austintown, are announcing the couple’s engagement and plans for their upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Richard Laboy and Yolanda Serrano, both of Youngstown.

Joseph and Janet Zemko of Austintown are parents of the future groom.

The couple will be united in marriage during a 1 p.m. ceremony Oct. 9 at the Kidston Pavilion in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. Their evening reception will take place by invitation at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
