Grumps v. Chumps to benefit food bank

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning County Bar Association, in conjunction with the Daily Legal News, is hosting a softball game headlining the older lawyers versus the younger lawyers, titled “Grumps v. Chumps,” to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.

The game will be played in Mill Creek Park’s Wick Recreation Area (Rocky Ridge) at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. There is no admission fee for the game, but those attending and the players are being asked to bring donations of nonperishable food items.

Donations will be sought from the spectators and players, and there will be a raffle. There are also a number of drop off-sites in the area, including the Mahoning County Courthouse Clerk of Courts office, all of Mahoning County Area Courts and the bar association office, 114 E. Front St..
