Night at the races at the Playhouse

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Aug. 28 at Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane, for “Viva Las Vegas!” night at the races, where there will be an auction for such items as a Mafia Wars jacket and a limited edition Jim Tressel barstool.

There will be music, a basket raffle, cash bar, food donated by area restaurants, Vegas-style games and the horse races at 7.

Admission is $5. Patrons who want to purchase and name a horse for $25 should contact the Playhouse box office at 330-788-8739.
