Poland girls win 7-1 at World Series, on TV tonight

Danielle Rutana had two hits and Claire Testa scored three runs as the Poland softball all-stars defeated Canada, 7-1, at the Little League World Series on Monday.

The win gives Poland a 3-1 record in pool play, and the team advanced to today’s semifinals.

Poland will play Warner Robins, Ga., in a semifinal tonight at 9:30 p.m.

The game will be televised on ESPN2.
