One man charged, arrest warrant out for another in Campbell crowd ruckus after shooting

CAMPBELL — Police have charged a city man in connection with an out-of-control crowd at a homicide scene.

Andrei Cash, 22, of Whipple Avenue is charged with inciting to violence, aggravated menacing, rioting, misconduct at an emergency and inducing panic, the report says.

Another man, David Cash II, 24, also of Whipple, is wanted on the same charges. There is a warrant for his arrest, said Detective Sgt. John Rusnak. The two men are brothers and are related to the shooting victim, Anthony Harrison.

The men were among a crowd of 60 to 80 people that hampered police at the scene of a shooting death. Harrison, 20, was shot in the back around 10:15 p.m. Aug. 6 as he walked down Tremble Avenue toward his Chambers Street home after a church festival. A friend with him was shot in the leg and survived.
