Scouts to sponsor photo contest during street fair

COLUMBIANA

Boy Scout Troop 16 will have its annual amateur photo contest during the Columbiana Street Fair Sept. 9 to 11.

Categories for those age 14 and older include open, (any subject), animals, people and “I love this town” (photos of Columbiana buildings, churches, places and activities).

A people’s-choice winner will be chosen by fairgoers. The winner of that award will receive a ribbon and a $25 gift card.

Those 13 and under may enter the open category.

Prizes for both age categories include a ribbon, plaque and $25 gift card for first place; a ribbon and $15 gift card for second place; and a ribbon for third place.

A computer-enhanced category also is open to both age groups. The first-place winner will receive a ribbon and plaque.
