In physical therapy

Katie Plichta, daughter of Chris and Kim Plichta of Boardman, received her doctorate in physical therapy from Duke University in Durham, N.C.

Plichta is a 2003 graduate of Boardman High School and a 2007 graduate of Miami University. She has accepted a position with the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Va.
