The garden at Stambaugh Auditorium was the setting at 4:30 p.m. July 10 for the wedding of Jenny Beth Shaffer and Patrick Alexander Hunt, both of Sharon, Pa. The Rev. William White officiated.

After the ceremony the couple greeted guests during a reception in Christman Memorial Hall at the auditorium.

The daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Larry Shaffer of Hermitage, Pa., and the son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Hunt of St. Louis honeymooned at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and live in Sharon.

The bride’s strapless mermaid-style gown featured a sweetheart neckline and was embellished with crystal and pearl beading.

The bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters, Laura Shaffer and Julianna Belelieu, who wore navy blue gowns.

Francis Hunt served as groomsman for his brother.

The bride graduated from the College of Wooster with a bachelor’s degree and from Westminster College with a master’s in education. She is an art teacher at Summit Academy-Youngstown Elementary.

The groom, a self-employed artist, holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster, a master’s in art from Webster University and a master’s in fine art from Maryland Institute College of Art.
