“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday, WFMJ Channel 21; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): Pilgrim Baptist Church in Struthers will have its second Community Health Fair next Saturday. Patricia Greene will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the event and the organizations that will participate, and share how the community can get involved.
Next, Youngstown native Stan Foster, film director and producer, will discuss the success of his first movie, “Preacher’s Kid,” and share information about his next movie, “Car Wash,” a sequel to the hit movie of the ’70s.

Southern Gospel music artist Ivan Parker will perform at the Renaissance Family Center at 7 p.m. Sept. 11. Parker and Gold City had 19 gospel music hits and won a Dove Award in 1993.
