Scrappers' bullpen loses lead, game

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers had relief pitching issues for the second-consecutive game, dropping Saturday’s contest to the Lowell Spinners 4-3.

Reliever James Reichenbach entered the game in the eighth inning and allowed a leadoff single Bryce Brentz. He followed that with two walks. A single by Kolbrin Vitek scored the go-ahead run when Bentz crossed home plate.
