School-supply donation event Sunday in Newton Falls

NEWTON FALLS — The Newton Falls Police Department will host its first “Fill a Cruiser With School Supplies” event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the City Hall parking lot.

The department will accept donation of school supplies and monetary donations to go toward the School Resource Officer Program.

All school supplies will be divided up between the public schools and later will be disbursed on an as-needed basis at the discretion of the schools.
