Communitywide yard sales and merchants’ sidewalk sales are planned in Hubbard.

When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today

Where: Look for signs throughout the city.

Why: The event is a means “to promote Hubbard,” said Deborah Shields, chamber executive director. She noted that yard sales attract city residents and visitors. Both are encouraged to support local restaurants and stop in at city businesses.
