NEW CASTLE, Pa.

Nicholas Ryan Paolini and his bride, the former Katie Lynne Fiest, live in Meadville, Pa., after honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The couple were married at 3:30 p.m. June 26 wedding at St. Vitus Church, and a reception followed at The Embassy in Youngstown.

The Rev. Rich Toohey officiated for the daughter of David and Lynn Fiest of Southington and the son of Nicholas and Susann Paolini of New Castle.

The bride wore a halter-style A-line gown enhanced with beaded lace appliques.

Maggie Fiest, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, wore a navy-blue gown, as did the bridesmaids, Brittaney Campana; Stephanie Patterson; and Beth Fabus and Christine Lazzara, sisters of the groom. Flower girl was the groom’s niece, Grace Lazzara.

The duties of best man were performed by Matt Walczak, a cousin of the groom, and groomsmen were Mike Walczak, also his cousin; Brandon Albertini; Keith Patterson; and Justin Conner.

The bride, a summa cum laude graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, is a human-resource representative with Joy Mining Machinery in Franklin, Pa. She is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration through Gannon University.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in eduction at Pennsylvania State University and a master’s in eduction at Edinboro University. He is working toward an instructional technology specialist degree from DeSales University and is a teacher and technology coach with Saegertown High School in Pennsylvania.
