Jennifer Garczewski and Dr. Christopher Raymond, both of Austintown, exchanged nuptial vows in the presence of the Rev. Paul Toelke as they were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony May 1 at Zion Lutheran Church.

The daughter of Michael and Denise Fabek of Boardman and Jim and Linda Garczewski of Laurel Springs, N.J., and the son of Robert and Roberta Raymond of Austintown greeted guests during a reception later that day at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, they live in Austintown.

The bride wore a strapless A-line gown embellished with beading on the bodice and featuring a sweetheart neckline and cathedral train.

Wearing taupe-colored gowns with white waistbands were Christen Kladitis, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kathleen Mertel, a sister of the groom; Jennifer Garczewski, the bride’s sister-in-law; Lauren Baluch; Jaimie Baluch: Kiley Passaretti, the bride’s cousin; Carrie Rockney; and Margaret Lamping. Flower girls were Olivia and Chloe Leskovac, the groom’s cousins.

Jason Shina served as best man, and groomsmen were William Mertel, the groom’s brother-in-law; Jeffrey Garczewski, a brother of the bride; Robert Baluch; Michael Baluch; David Thoresen; Dustin Benson; and Dr. Robert Ault. Ring bearer was the groom’s cousin, Luke Leskovac.

Mrs. Raymond earned a managing cosmetologist license at the Hair Academy and is self-employed as a hairstylist at LeaBella Salon in Cornersburg.

The groom is the owner/operator of Raymond Chiropractic in Austintown. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry and from the Palmer College of Chiropractic with a doctor of chiropractic degree.
