Art exhibit
Trumbull Art Gallery will host the 46th TAG annual juried art exhibition today through Sept. 24 at the gallery, 198 E. Market St. in Warren. Mark Cole, associate curator of American painting and sculpture for the Cleveland Museum of Art, will be the juror.
The opening reception will be 7 to 9 p.m. today. Awards will be presented at 8 p.m. It’s open to the public.
Girard event
The Girard End of Summer Celebration today will include a craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of U.S. Route 422 and Kline Street in Girard, a parade at 7 p.m. and entertainment, bingo and food concessions until 11 p.m. near city hall. Mahoning Valley Hot Rods will have a car show from noon to 6 p.m. near city hall and will participate in the parade. For show information, call 330-240-8037.
Community sale
Hubbard’s annual communitywide garage, yard and merchants sidewalk sale will be sponsored by Hubbard Area Chamber of Commerce from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Benefit car wash
The public is invited to take part in a benefit car wash from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. today at AutoZone, 4624 Youngstown-Poland Road in Youngstown.
Proceeds will benefit Brett Wilcox, who has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a rare but devastating disease. Donations also will be accepted for the Brett Wilcox Fund at Huntington Bank.
Featured at the car wash will be music, food, baked goods, pizza, water and raffles.
