Bicycle accident injures Pa. teen

MERCER, PA.

The Pennsylvania State Police in Mercer are investigating a bicycle accident about 8 p.m. Friday.

The state police said a 19-year-old man was riding a bicycle on Lake Hill Road when the bike’s chain came off. The rider had a “hard hit,” according to police. The rider was flown to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. His condition was not made available late Friday.

State police said they were not releasing information because they were not sure the victim’s family had been contacted.
