Identity theft: A man from Virginia who formerly resided here reported that his Ohio license and registration had been stolen from an impounded car in 1999, and he was notified by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles that his license was suspended due to several fines that were not paid.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.
Theft: EZ passes were stolen from an auto in the 500 block of Victoria Road.
Theft: Fuel cards and an EZ pass were taken from an auto at Penske Truck Rental, 350 Victoria Road.
Bad checks: Checks for tires that were shipped totaling more than $63,000 were reported at Player Wheel Group, 116 S. Meridian Road.
Attempted auto theft: Four men attempted to steal a company truck and a 1993 Pontiac van from B&R Wholesale Tire, 116 S. Meridian Road.
Fraud: A man’s credit card and PIN number were stolen and money was taken from his account at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered in the 1300 block of Cavalcade Drive.
Theft: A ring was stolen from a vehicle at Drywall Barn, 408 N. Meridian Road.
July 27
Burglary: A checkbook and a Nintendo Wii were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Avenue.
Theft: $31 belonging to a Gateways home resident was reported by the manager at a home in the 3000 block of White Beach Lane.
Criminal damaging: Damage to siding was reported at a home in the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A 16-foot fishing boat was stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.
Burglary: Thefts were reported from two vehicles, one in the driveway and another in an attached garage at a home in the 6000 block of Ohltown Road.
Theft: A male suspect stole batteries, etc., from Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Kristen A. Scudier, 35, of 131 Wilson Ave., Niles, on a warrant charging theft.
July 28
Recovered property: A man’s wallet and Kentucky ID were recovered at UniMart, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Burglary: Two televisions and a DVD player were taken from a home in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.
Criminal mischief: A car was egged at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Telecommunications harassment: A harassing text from a female was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Lake Road.
Theft: A total of $336.71 in fuel was stolen from a vehicle at TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Assault: A male is a suspect in an assault in the 100 block of Rosemont Drive.
Attempted burglary: A lock was pried open on the main door in the 100 block of Fitch Boulevard.
Theft: Police arrested Sarah B. Averill, 27, of 85 Carnegie Ave., in a theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A CD player was stolen from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Claridge Drive.
Assault: A male victim was assaulted by several males at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Money was taken from a checking account at a home in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.
Menacing: A male suspect was reportedly menacing at Taco Bell, 4523 Mahoning Ave.
July 29
Warrant: Police arrested Kari Davis, 27, of 2591 Walnut St., Girard, at Interstate 680 and North Meridian Road on an active warrant for Campbell police.
Theft: A wallet and money were taken from an auto with an unlocked door parked in the 200 block of North Turner Road.
Criminal mischief: Silly String was sprayed on a vehicle in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Assault: Two males were involved in an assault at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.
Theft: A purse and its contents were stolen from a vehicle in the 6000 block of Bowman Avenue.
Vandalism: Damage was done to equipment by a former employee at Little Caesar’s, 4779 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A UPS package was stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Woodgate Street.
Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Sammy Abu-Enjeela, 24, of 468 Twelfth St., Campbell, in the possession of marijuana, and another summons in the possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5000 block of Seventy-Six Drive.
July 30
Criminal mischief: Graffiti was spray-painted on a building in the 20 block of North Wickliffe Circle.
Warrant: Police arrested Bobbi T. Olds, 31, of 4232 Southern Blvd., Boardman, on a warrant charging criminal damaging.
Theft: A Jennings .22-caliber handgun was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.
Attempted theft: An attempt was made to remove a stereo from American Auto, 89 Maple Ave.
Theft: An iPhone, charger and miscellaneous items were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of London Drive.
Warrant: Police arrested Robert L. Riley Jr., 53, of 4823 Westchester Drive on a warrant charging failure to appear on a traffic charge.
Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were reported at First Place Bank, 4390 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Police arrested Jamie Pastore, 22, of 350 Union St., Washingtonville, in the possession of crack cocaine at Mahoning Avenue and Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: A GPS was stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Black Oak Lane.
Theft: A Craftsman drill was taken from a vehicle at a home in the 3000 block of Black Oak Lane.
Recovered property: A bank book was located at Cannon Road and Moorefield Avenue.

Theft: A woman is a suspect in the theft of a wedding band at a home in the 100 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Warrant: Police arrested Vito Pace, 18, 3565 Starwick Drive, Canfield, on a warrant for falsification on Willowcrest Drive.
Theft: $6.94 in gasoline was stolen at the Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Lost or stolen property: A First Place Bank checkbook was lost or stolen in the township.
Criminal damaging: A window on a home was damaged in the 5000 block of Purdue Avenue.
Theft: An iPhone and Playstation were stolen from an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: A cashier was short-changed $120 at Taco Bell, 850 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Six bottles of cologne were stolen at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Ronald J. Novak, 70, 4000 Shields Road, Canfield was arrested on a theft charge at Rulli Brothers, 4331 Kirk Road, after authorities said he tried to check out with $15.39 worth of porterhouse steaks with a chicken-breast sticker for $3.10 placed over the original price tag.
Theft: A 40-inch Samsung television valued at $668 was stolen from Walmart.
Aug. 4
Drug offense: William Weimer, 19, 440 S. Raccoon Road, was issued a summons in the 80 block of Raccoon Road on a charge of drug abuse, possession of marijuana. Three juveniles in his car were arrested on curfew violation.
Bad checks: Two checks were returned for insufficient funds at Komara Jewelers, 3649 Canfield Road.
Theft: Car keys were stolen at Quaker Steak & Lube, 5800 Interstate Boulevard.
Drug Offense: A man admitted to police in a statement he had sold 20 Klonopin pills from his own prescription for $20 to a man in the 6000 block of S. Timberlane Drive.
Theft: A woman reported money was stolen from her account by an ex-boyfriend in the 3000 block of Bryant Drive.
Aug. 5
Warrant: Police arrested Katie Osterling, 19, 245 Lafayette St., Youngstown, on a warrant alleging complicity to theft.
Fleeing and eluding: Police plan to bring charges of fleeing and eluding, theft and criminal trespass against a woman who took a man’s car at the TA Travel Center and fled from police.
Criminal damaging: A tire was cut on a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Bad check: A bad check for $1,060 was passed to pay for a party at Lucianno’s Restaurant, 1739 S. Raccoon Road. She later paid $450 cash and said she would pay the remainder in a few days but has not.
Theft: $1,590 in cash and a Garmin GPS were stolen from a vehicle at Wendy’s, 5551 Interstate Boulevard.
Burglary: A firearm and cash were stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Theft: Cash was stolen from an auto in the 6000 block of Notre Dame Drive.
Theft: Police arrested Helen Daniels, 61, 710 Tenney Ave., Campbell, in the theft of $84.42 in merchandise at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Clothing and miscellaneous change were stolen from an auto at a home in the 600 block of Notre Dame Drive.
Burglary: An attached garage was entered and a bicycle stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Kirwan Drive.
Aug. 6
Drug offense: Police arrested Gage E. Soban, 24, 6377 E. Harvest Ridge Drive, on charges of drug abuse, paraphernalia and possessing criminal tools at Mahoning Avenue and Wickliffe Circle.
Theft: A 2003 Pace trailer and a flatbed were stolen at Rental Corral, 5020 Mahoning Ave.
Animal cruelty: Mark Burrows, 37, 178 S. Beverly Avenue, was issued a summons alleging animal cruelty at Walmart.
Domestic violence: David Higham, 18, 71 Carnegie Ave., was arrested on a domestic-violence charge at his home.
Warrant: Michael Harris, 19, 4519 New Hampshire Court, was arrested on a warrant alleging fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest and failure to comply.
Theft: Prescription glasses were stolen and feces was left on a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: Tools were stolen from Mashorda’s Country Gardens, 5627 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Frank J. Crone, 31, 42 Pembrook Road, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia at Southward Drive and Western Place.
Felonious assault: A suspect in a felonious assault and a victim, both males, were both transported to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center after an incident in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.
Telecommunications harassment: A male is suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A door was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.
Drug offense: Clinton O. Smith, 47, 1523 Salt Springs Road, Mineral Ridge, was arrested and issued a summons on drug charges, possession of marijuana and cocaine and paraphernalia, at state Route 46 and W. Webb Road. Also arrested was William Gutwald, 29, 131 N. Raccoon Road, on possession of marijuana.
Theft: A male is a suspect in a theft from an auto at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were made out of state at a home in the 5000 block of N. Beacon Drive.
