Be first in arena for McCartney

PITTSBURGH

Consol Energy Center will open Wednesday with a Paul McCartney concert.

To mark the event, Consol is having a contest that will give two people the opportunity to “jump the line” and become the first ones into the new building. The winners will receive two tickets to the concert, VIP parking and a prize pack from McCartney, Consol Energy Center and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The online contest runs through 11 p.m. Sunday at consolenergycenter.com/jumptheline.

Museum gets grant

EAST LIVERPOOL

The Museum of Ceramics, 400 E. Fifth St., has received a $10,000 grant from the Home Savings Charitable Foundation of Youngstown to help make its building handicapped-accessible.

The museum has a collection of the wares produced in the city and depicts the growth and development of the ceramic industry.
