Blaze burns 5 cars in Pittsburgh parking garage

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Authorities in Pittsburgh say fire damaged five cars at a downtown parking garage after flames erupted from one vehicle’s engine and spread.

Fire Chief Darryl Jones says the blaze broke out around 12:30 p.m. Thursday on the third floor of the garage at the Greyhound bus station. It was under control about an hour later.

Jones says the city’s arson squad is investigating.

Inspectors found no structural damage to the 2-year-old facility after the fire.
