Laura Paden and Micah Zavadil, both of Boardman, were united in marriage on July 17 during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Shawn Conoboy in St. Charles Church.

A reception at The Embassy in Youngstown honored the daughter of Frank Paden of Boardman and the late Marsha Paden and the son of Emil and Janice Zavadil of Columbiana.

After a wedding trip to Riveria Maya, Mexico, the couple live in Boardman.

The bride wore an asymmetrical cut white silk gown adorned with crystal beading and featuring a unique V-neckline.

Black gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Suzie Vargo, and the bridesmaids, Cheryl McGovern, her cousin; Emily Lawrence; and Katie Sutton. Flower girl was Ava McGovern, a cousin of the bride.

Aaron Zavadil performed the duties of best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Scott Olenik, Brian Ford and Tony McCoy.

A summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State with a degree in food and nutrition, Mrs. Zavadil is a registered dietitian with Adagio Health in New Castle, Pa.

Mr. Zavadil is a senior project manager with Steel Equipment Specialists in Alliance. He graduated from YSU with a degree in mechanical engineering.
