Friends to provide eats, entertainment

Salem First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave., will host its 8th annual Friends Disaster Service chicken barbecue from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug 21. Dinners are $10 for adults. Children’s hot dog meals will be $4. Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased at the church office.

Featured at the event will be live entertainment, hayrides, a bounce house, games and a silent auction. For more information call 330-332-0001.
