What: The fourth annual Family Fun Day is sponsored by the Lena, Mason and Christian Fund. Lena Cross and her two sons, Mason and Christian, were murdered Sept. 13, 2005, in Girard.

When: 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 28.

Where: Tod Park on Lawrence Avenue in Girard.

Why: To give away backpacks filled with school supplies. The event also will feature Jocko the clown and friend, face painting, crafts and food. To volunteer or donate to the cause, contact Cindy Michael at 330-883-0803.
