Boardman man faces robbery charge

BOARDMAN — Police say a 41-year-old Boardman man tried to rob a Dollar General store on South Avenue.

Kevin Yuhas was charged with robbery, drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon and open container violation.

Yuhas is accused of stuffing three shirts and two cans of deodorant under his shirt about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the police report, employees attempted to stop Yuhas, who dropped the items and tried to leave. When police arrested Yuhas in the store parking lot, they said they also found drug paraphernalia, an open container and a knife.
