Death of woman hit by cop car ruled accident

CINCINNATI

A coroner’s office has ruled as accidental the death of a woman run over by a police car in a Cincinnati park.

The report says toxicology results were negative for alcohol but positive for cocaine metabolites. Authorities say veteran officer Marty Polk drove over Burton on July 27 while she was lying under blankets on the grass.
