Hinder in concert at Club Gossip

The All American Nightmare Tour featuring Hinder with special guests to be announced will come to Club Gossip on Sept. 7.

UN Act to present free dance concert

YOUNGSTOWN

UN Act Productions will have a free one-year anniversary dance show Sunday at the Lemon Grove, 122 W. Federal St.

The family event will begin at 6 p.m. with an open mic session. A dance concert, featuring Brandon Martin and The Tribe of EOS will begin at 7:30 p.m.

End of summer celebration set

Girard

Girard’s End of Summer Celebration will be Saturday in downtown.

A craft show is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Route 422 and Kline Street. Entertainment, bingo and food vendors will be open until 11 p.m. in front of the city administration building, 100 N. Market St.

Mahoning Valley Hot Rods will sponsor a car show from noon to 6 p.m. in front of city hall. Drivers may participate in the parade, which is scheduled at 7 p.m.

‘You Are What You Eat’ program set

YOUNGSTOWN

An informational program, “You Are What You Eat,” will be at 7 p.m. Monday at First Unitarian Universalist Church, Elm and Illinois streets, North Side.

Featured speakers will be Matt Stephanic, Mahoning County health commissioner; and Rev. Steven Fortenberry, executive director of Goodness Grows.

Local food, beer and wine will be available. Suggested donation is $3.

Megasaurus coming to Truck Night

BROOKFIELD

Megasaurus, the car-eating, fire-breathing monster machine, will visit Truck Night at Yankee Lake on Friday.

Gates open at 6 p.m., with Megasaurus appearing at 8 p.m.

Spectator admission is $5 (free for kids 10 and under; truck admission is $10).
