Man charged with vehicular assault

Kevin Titus, 48, of East Wilson, was charged with aggravated vehicular assault, driving under the influence and open container after police were called to 346 S. Market Ave. at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in reference to a woman being run over by a car. Police stopped Titus who was leaving the scene.

Jessica Patrick, 33, of Olive Street told police she had argued with Titus; she was talking to him at the driver’s side window as he was attempting to leave the parking lot. Titus grabbed Patrick’s arm and drove about 10 feet. She slipped and her left leg ended up between the pavement and driver’s side rear tire.

Both were treated at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
