Saturday: The Hartford native did not qualify for today’s Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen Lineup after finishing 45th in Saturday’s qualifying. The top 43 drivers qualified. TV coverage for today’s race begins at noon on ESPN with the green flag set to drop at 1 p.m.

Season to date: Blaney is in 41st place in the Sprint Cup Series standings with 699 points. He’s 71 points behind Max Papis.

Next weekend: NASCAR’s top series heads to Michigan International Speedway for Sunday’s Carfax 400.
