GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

TUESDAY

Moccasin will meet for a program on fruit and vegetable arrangements by Vickie Bell. Co-hostesses will be Sue Herman and Louella Friend. Donations of canned tuna fish or chicken will be collected for Emmanuel House.

New Bedford will have an annual picnic at 6 p.m. with Shirley Sikora as hostess. Members are to take a swimsuit and a covered dish; meat will be provided.

UPCOMING

The Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown will sponsor a 46th annual horticultural show Aug. 28 and 29 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. The event is free. The public is invited to participate. There are special categories for those 16 and under. For more information call Rodney Toth at 330-759-1993.
