Family honors Mr., Mrs. Hynes on anniversary

LOWELLVILLE

Family members and invited guests gathered at the Elm Tree in Struthers at 6 p.m. July 30 to honor Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hynes Sr. of Lowellville as the couple celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding.

Hosting the event were their children and their spouses, Denise and Mario Nero and Dennis Jr. and Lori Hynes, all of Lowellville, and Lisa and Kevin Duncan and Paul and Shana Hynes, all of Poland, and the couple’s 13 grandchildren. They also have one great-grandson.

The former Carol Ramunno and Mr. Hynes were united in marriage July 30, 1960, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, where they are members.

Mr. Hynes was a fifth-grade teacher at Lowellville School for 30 years, prior to retiring in 1991. His wife is a homemaker.
