Here is a list of Columbiana County veterans who received the Purple Heart and will be recognized during the Columbiana County Fair on Sunday:

World War II: Charley “Mike” Stoffel, Wellsville; James Bussard, East Liverpool; Harold B. Orr, Columbiana; and John Warren Bettis, Salem.

Korean War: James R. Manley, East Liverpool.

Vietnam War: Stephen Chestnut, Leetonia; Michael Nahod, Salem; Steven Tatgenhorst, East Liverpool; Richard Kountz, Wellsville; Earl “Butch” Hardy, Salem; Richard Baker, Lisbon; Richard Clendenning Sr., Lisbon; and Weslie White, Columbiana.
