Go Greek at dance, dinner and show

YOUNGSTOWN

USA Dance is inviting the public to go Greek Aug. 22 at a Big Fat Greek dance, dinner and show beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown.

Doors wll open at 2:30 p.m. for dancing, and from 3 to 3:50 p.m. Stephen Sobat of Studio One will present a rumba lesson. From 4 to 4:30 there will be a Greek dance lesson followed by the presentation of the “Oppa Award.”

A cash bar will be available and a “Taste of Greece” sit-down dinner with Jim Economus will be served at 5:30. After dinner there will be a performance by ballroom dance champion Minas Katsantouris and Rachel Neilson, followed by dancing.

Tickets will be available in advance only and are $40 for adults and $30 for students. Reservations are to be made by Tuesday.
