Canfield native Martin D. Pallante signed copies of his latest book titled “Creating Sustainable Customer Value ... The Positive Power of Strategic Management” for a large crowd Saturday at Barnes and Noble in the Shops at Boardman Park.
Pallante, a retired global business executive, college professor, speaker and strategic management specialist, called on 40 years of international business experience to produce a work that provides the reader with an easy-to-follow road map to managerial success.
Pallante’s quest for the “saleable differentiator” led him to develop the Dynamic Balanced Scorecard Strategic Management system, a state-of-the-art leadership and management program that can empower an enterprise to create sustainable customer value, the most rewarding, most powerful differentiator of all.
In the book, Pallante discusses the importance of leadership to the success of strategic management. He also details the difference between leadership and management; a differentiation that many managers fail to make.
He includes commentary by several legendary leaders, including Mahoning Valley philanthropist, Anthony J. Lariccia, John Odle, retired Executive Vice President of RTI and actor, author and humanitarian Hugh O’Brian.
Best known for his starring role of Wyatt Earp in the hit TV show of the same name, O’Brian is the founder and Chairman of Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY), a dynamic youth leadership training program in its 53rd year.
Pallante is a member of YSU’s Strategic Planning Committee and the retired Chairman of the Board of Albert Schweitzer Leadership for Life and the Presidents Council of International College.
His book is available at Barnes and Noble in the Shops at Boardman Park, other major booksellers or online at www.Authorhouse.com. For information, contact Pallante at Pallantemgmt@aol.com.
