vYoungstown Area Community Concert Band, 7:30 p.m.: Directed by Joseph Pellelgrini, the band will perform as part of the Mercer Summer Music Series at Mercer County Courthouse Square. Warm-up music will be provided by Tom Cramer of Canfield at 6. There will an ice cream social and popcorn available. Bring a chair or blanket. Poland native on ‘Singing Bee’
CMT’s karaoke showdown series, “The Singing Bee,” will feature Suzanne Shorab of Poland at 6 p.m. today.
The show tests contestants’ knowledge of lyrics to well-known country music hits along with other popular genre favorites.
In each episode, six contestants sing it out to compete for the grand prize of $10,000.
The show is hosted by Melissa Peterman.
Peanuts-themed events at waterpark
AURORA
Snoopy and other characters from the “Peanuts” comic strip will host various events Sunday at Geauga Lake’s Wildwater Kingdom.
There will be a breakfast buffet from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the Lakeside Pavilions.
Characters will greet guests and take pictures with their biggest fans.
Meals must be purchased in advance online at wildwaterfun.com.
After breakfast, there will be a scavenger hunt at the Beach Family Fun area.

Voting for Pepsi project extended
conneaut lake
The trustees of Conneaut Lake Park, Lisko Entertainment, Park Restoration and Structural Technologies Inc. have announced that the Pepsi Refresh Project has rolled over into the August voting period.
The park hopes to get a $50,000 grant for the Blue Streak Restoration Fund.
