Benefit dinner planned
Special to The Vindicator
RAVENNA
The family of Jeremy Reynolds will have a benefit dinner Saturday to aid with the 22-year-old crash victim’s accumulating medical expenses.
The dinner will be at Shearer’s Community Center, at 9355 Newton Falls Road. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Reynolds, of Ravenna, was severely injured Dec. 27, 2009, when his car went off the road, striking a tree. No drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident that injured Reynolds and two cousins.
A brain injury left Reynolds without use of his motor skills. He has spent each of the nearly 200 days since December in various hospitals and treatment centers.
The dinner will consist of beef and pork loin, parsley potatoes, green beans, bread and a drink. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 7-12. Children 6 and under will be admitted free. There also will be an auction, raffle and musical entertainment.
Those interested in donating to the raffle should contact Jeremy’s parents, Tommy and Betty Reynolds, at 330-358-2071.
