Steel Valley Cluster show begins today

The annual Steel Valley Cluster Dog Show begins today and runs through Sunday.

The show includes American Kennel Club all-breed dog shows and obedience and rally trials at the fairgrounds beginning at 8 a.m. each day, which is when judging begins.

Best-In-Show judging will conclude between 5 and 6 p.m. each day, according to a news release.

Admission is $5 per vehicle.

The Steel Valley Cluster is made up of the Mahoning-Shenango, Beaver County and Columbiana County kennel clubs and the Ft. Steuben Kennel Association.

Each day will feature judging for all AKC breeds, obedience, rally and junior showmanship for 10- to 18-year-olds.

Obedience and rally trials are open to mixed breeds for the first time this year.

Food and product vendors also will be on-hand offering a variety of dog equipment, art and crafts.
