Weather to feel like triple digits in Ohio

CINCINNATI (AP) — Forecasters say high humidity combined with temperatures in the 90s will make it feel like more than 100 degrees in Ohio’s southwestern quadrant.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for noon to 8 p.m. today throughout a region that includes counties south of Columbus, also the Dayton and Cincinnati areas.

The forecasters are advising against working too long in the sun or in places that aren’t well ventilated.

A smog alert is in effect in the Cincinnati area, where officials expect the hot, sticky weather conditions to trap air pollution.
