Authorities say a bust of prescription pills started with the discovery of a woman wandering around with $117,000 cash in a backpack.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s office in Columbus says 21-year-old Alexes Akers was “incoherent” when a deputy noticed her Sunday night in a parking lot near suburban Grove City. The deputy arrested her on a charge of disorderly conduct, then found the money.

The sheriff’s office says Akers’ husband, 25-year-old Christopher Akers, pulled up to the scene in a car. Chief Deputy Steve Martin says searches of the car and a hotel room where the Akerses had stayed turned up drugs valued at more than $100,000.
