Browns’ Robiskie confident in second pro camp


Brian Robiskie is now having the good training camp many expected of him as a Cleveland Browns rookie a year ago.

The second-year wide receiver from Ohio State hauled in a 45-yard touchdown pass from new quarterback Jake Delhomme to finish the first practice of Wednesday’s two-a-day drills.

That play was far more productive than any Robiskie had has a highly touted second-round draft pick in 2009. In 11 games, he had only seven catches and no touchdowns. Four of those receptions, including his longest play of 43 yards, came against San Diego in December.

The son of former Browns head coach Terry Robiskie discovered the transition from college star to professional player is not always so easy. This year, he says is better prepared, more relaxed, and ready to do what he enjoys — catching the football on a regular basis.
